As the late morning unfolds, your first vineyard visit begins with a guided tour led by a knowledgeable sommelier. You’ll explore the vineyard grounds and learn about the rich history and time-honored techniques that produce the renowned Brunello di Montalcino wines. The tour culminates in a tasting of their finest offerings, typically featuring four or five exquisite wines.

I can't say enough good things about this tour. We booked this for our parents' 59th anniversary trip to Rome. We wanted something that would be extremely special and something we would all remember. The folks at The Tour Guy hit a homerun with this one! Our driver, Luca, and our tour leader, Nida, met us at the hotel right on time. Nida, was fantastic. She was friendly, accommodating and engaging. We really enjoyed spending the day with her. The helicopter pilot, Filipo (I'm pretty sure that was his name), was equally as friendly. The driver, Claudio, who shuttled us around the vineyards and the local town was a pleasure to be around, too. The tastings were fun and provided a wide variety of Brunello wines to experience. The tour of the facilities and the description of the wine making process were interesting, too. The staff at both of the wineries were just as friendly as the folks from The Tour Guy. It really felt like we were spending time with friends we'd known for a while. I cannot recommend this tour enough. From the booking all the way through to the sunset landing at the airport, this tour was first class. Thank you to everybody who was involved in making this a magical experience. My family will always remember it!

This was a once in a lifetime VIP experience. From the beginning to the end it was so fun and well organized. We had the best tour guide Teodora who picked us up from the hotel and was our guide all day long and made us feel so special the entire day. She was on top of everything from the timing and the wineries and very easy to talk communicate with. It was just the best day we had on our entire trip in Florence!! Depending on the season, you should bring warm clothing and maybe rain gear. Tuscany has a cool damp climate so we recommend bringing extra clothing. You can always leave them in the chopper! Feel free to dress casual or elegant as there will not be much walking, but be prepare to walk across some uneven terrain during vineyard tours.
