Dress Code: Comfortable attire and shoes are recommended for walking on uneven terrain.
Accessibility: This tour involves ancient ground and uneven terrain. It is unfortunately not wheelchair or stroller accessible. A soft baby carrier is recommended.
ID Requirement: Please bring a valid government-issued ID for entrance into the Colosseum. The name on your tickets must match the name listed on your government-issued ID or you will be refused entry.
Tour Changes: Depending on the assigned entry time for the Colosseum, your tour might enter the Roman Forum first and end in the Colosseum.
Bag Policy: The Colosseum allows small to medium-sized bags, but large backpacks, suitcases, and wheeled bags are prohibited and must be left behind. All bags are subject to security screening, similar to an airport.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can enter sites on time.

We run our Colosseum tours rain or shine, and we ask that all guests please dress accordingly.

While there is no dress code to visit the sites on this itinerary, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate attire.
Do I get to visit the Arena floor with this tour?
No, this tour does not include Arena floor access.
Does the Colosseum ever experience sudden closures?
On rare, unforeseen occasions, the Colosseum might be closed. If this happens you will either be offered an alternative tour or a refund.
Is lunch included in the price of the tour?
Lunch is not included on this tour. However, your guide will be happy to recommend one of our favorite spots for after the tour, and your guide will be sure to point you in the right direction too.
Does this tour include hotel pickup?
Hotel pickup is not included on this tour. You’ll meet your guide at the designated meeting point outside of the Colosseum entrance.
