After meeting your expert foodie guide in the bustling Piazza della Minerva, you'll take a short walk to Casa Bleve. Step back in time as your friendly hosts, the Bleve family, welcome you into their restaurant, housed in a 15th-Century building complete with Roman and Renaissance-era influences.
Delight in an aperitif on the cellar floor while admiring this impressive setting; then, it's back to the street level for a fascinating journey through Italian cuisine. Led by a culinary guide and sommelier, you'll make your way through four fantastic food and wine pairings before ending your evening with an Italian-style dessert.

Your Italian food and wine-tasting experience begins in the enchanting Piazza della Minerva. While small compared to Rome's other sprawling squares, the Piazza della Minerva is renowned for its proximity to the Pantheon and unique blend of Roman history and detailed architecture. The square's small size also makes it easy to find your guide and fellow group members. After a quick meet and greet, you'll walk a short distance to a stunning Renaissance building.
Wander to Casa Bleve
Your destination is the family-run Casa Bleve restaurant, and we promise it'll be hard to decide what is most impressive–the beauty of the 15th-century building it's set in or the delicious smells wafting out its doors. Luckily, you won't have to choose between these delights; instead, you'll be met with a warm welcome from Tina, the chef and 'mamma' in the kitchen, and her son Alessandro.
Take a moment to admire the imposing Roman structure on the cellar floor, the building's secret passages to the history of Rome, and the surrounding buildings in the heart of the Sant'Eustachio district. Then, settle in for a memorable night of wining and dining.
An Unforgettable Dining Experience
Your culinary journey begins with a welcome aperitif on the stunning cellar floor. Toast to the start of an incredible evening while soaking up your surroundings and be sure to take a closer look at the wall, made entirely of square work, before heading back up to the street level.
You'll then be treated to a seasonal four-course tasting dinner expertly paired with Italian wine. As the menu constantly changes depending on the produce in season, you'll no doubt be in for a wonderful surprise as each dish is brought to your table.

Alessandro was a knowledgeable host, the food was good and the wine better. I was a bit surprised that the restaurant picked the wines, but with Alex’s knowledge he was able to keep us informed throughout the meal.
