Hop on a quick 30-minute train from central Rome and meet your local guide right outside the Frascati Train Station (or Tor Vergata on Saturdays). After meeting your local guide at Frascati train station, you will enjoy comfortable transportation to a local vineyard. Tucked away in the hills just outside town, this family-owned vineyard has been producing wine for generations. You’ll explore the historic farmhouse and underground wine caves dating back to Ancient Rome while learning about local winemaking techniques that respect both tradition and terroir. The tasting includes three boutique wines: a crisp Frascati DOC, a bold Roma DOC red, and a Lazio IGT Malvasia, each introduced by the winemaker themselves. Expect great wine, not a wine lesson.

After lunch wraps up, the official part of your tour ends but your time in Frascati doesn’t have to. You’re free to wander the cobbled streets, grab a gelato, or relax in the piazza with one last glass of wine. Return trains to Rome run frequently, every hour during the week and every other hour on Sundays, so you can head back whenever you’re ready. It’s your call: linger like a local or catch the next train home.

Is lunch included in the price of the tour?
Yes, lunch is included! You’ll enjoy a full sit-down meal at a local osteria: assorted salumi, cheese, and vegetables to start, followed by fresh homemade pasta with seasonal sauces, all paired with house wine.
What if I have food allergies, intolerances, or other dietary requirements?

How many glasses of wine will I get?
You’ll taste three boutique wines during the vineyard visit—two whites and one red. Portions are generous and served Roman-style, often from carafes rather than pre-measured pours.
What if I don’t drink alcohol but I’d still like to join the tour?
Not a problem, you can just enjoy exploring Frascati and delicious food!
Can I bring my kids and do I have to pay for them?
Kids are welcome. Children under 2 are free; children 3–15 pay a reduced rate. Please choose accordingly during the booking.
Does this tour include hotel pickup?
No, hotel pickup isn’t included. You’ll travel by train to Frascati and meet your guide directly at the station.
