Best Shopping in Rome for Every Budget

If you’ve ever been to Rome, you know that dressing the part is pretty much a must. The Romans definitely take their style seriously, and that means tons of awesome shopping options. If you’re like me and love checking out local brands when you travel, you’re in for a treat.

Rome isn’t just about history and culture—it’s also a shopping paradise. Whether you’re after a luxury designer piece, timeless fashion, or the latest accessories, you’ll find something to fit your style and budget. Here’s a guide to the best shopping spots in Rome, no matter what you’re looking to spend. Luckily, everything on our list is concentrated in the best shopping area in Rome, four intersecting streets: Via dei Condotti (known for famous Italian fashion houses), Via del Babuino (lesser-known luxury brands), Via del Corso (affordable shopping), and Via di Campo Marzio.

Also, no day of shopping is complete without a stop for a sweet treat or lunch. So I’ll also be recommending a few cafes to check out along your way.

Luxury Shopping in Rome: Treat Yourself to the Best of Italian Fashion

If you’re looking to splurge, Rome has plenty of high-end boutiques where you can find luxury fashion and exclusive items.

Momonì Roma Campo Marzio

€€€€ | Italian-Made | Womenswear

For a unique, Italian-made clothing item or accessory, Momonì is a must-visit. This Italian designer brand isn’t widely seen outside of Italy, making it a fantastic option for those looking for something truly special. Their overcoats and outerwear are well-tailored and they are great at pairing classic pieces with pops of color for a modern touch.

For those who want to indulge in luxury outerwear and sportswear, Moncler offers super-high-end pieces, including down jackets and stylish winter wear that are perfect for both the streets of Rome and the slopes. It’s a European brand known for combining warmth with fashionable designs. My wife purchased a ski hat while we were there. Will she ever wear it? Maybe once or twice. Is it gorgeous and worth the money? She thinks so, so I’m happy too.

Pineider

€€€ | Leather Wallets, Bags and Pens |Customizable Products

If you’re in the market for sophisticated leather goods that exude luxury without being a traditional brand like Louis Vuitton or Gucci, Pineider is your go-to. Originally a Florentine stationary company, Pineider now crafts gorgeous leather goods, including wallets, bags, and custom pieces—ideal for those seeking a refined, understated style without the price tag of internationally known luxury brands. I bought a custom-initialed leather wallet there and it’s held up beautifully.

Address: Via del Leoncino, 25

While Brooks Brothers is an American staple, the Italian version of the brand offers a sleeker, more fashionable approach to menswear.
