To begin your electrifying journey through Tuscany, meet your guide and the rest of your spirited group at a central meeting point in Florence. From here, your guide will take you to a garage where you’ll choose your dream Vespa, be fitted for helmets, and receive a tutorial on how to ride.
Once your group is ready, ease in slowly as you follow your guide through Florence and to the city’s most majestic viewpoint: Piazzale Michelangelo. Stop for photos with your vintage ride against the city’s iconic skyline, and pop into the historic hilltop church nearby.
Next, leave the city traffic behind as you zip into Tuscany’s verdant countryside. Admire the extraordinary views and scenic hills as you follow your guide to San Miniato al Monte Basilica, and then to a country estate. Enjoy traditional Tuscan food and local Chianti before popping back on your Vespa one more time. Continue taking in the picturesque landscape as you make your way back to Florence, now more comfortable on your Vespa than ever before!

Your unforgettable adventure begins at a convenient meeting point in Florence, where your friendly tour leader will take you to a garage filled with traditional Vespas. After everyone in your group has chosen their favorite, your guide will fit each guest with a helmet and go over instructions on how to ride, along with safety information.
Not to worry if you’re feeling a little insecure on your Vespa, your group will start off slowly, so you’ll have plenty of time to get the hang of things!
See Florence from Above
Now that you’ve been given a Vespa tutorial, it’s time to set off for the ride of a lifetime. Follow your guide as you ease in slowly, riding along Florence’s tranquil riverside and down an enchanting, tree-lined avenue. Your guide will lead you to the first stop of the day, a breathtaking, panoramic view of Florence. Admire the cityscape and snap some photos with your gorgeous Vespa against Florence’s remarkable skyline.
Before hitting the road again, pop into one of the area’s oldest churches: San Miniato al Monte. This historic church is stunning, so you’ll want to keep your camera out for this one!
Cruise to the Countryside
Now that you’ve had a chance to get used to your Vespa, it’s time to trade in the city streets for the winding, narrow roads of the Tuscan countryside. Zip past ancient castles and picturesque villas as you ride along the hidden backroads of Tuscany’s iconic, rolling hills. Continue to cruise through ancient olive groves and splendid vineyards as you discover Italy’s raw, natural beauty.

All of that exploring is sure to make you hungry! Follow your tour leader to a gorgeous countryside estate, where you’ll indulge in decadent Tuscan treats. With the backdrop of Tuscany’s extraordinary landscape, enjoy some of the region's best prosciutto and cheese. Of course, your meal will also include a glass of delicious, local Chianti.
Take the Scenic Route Back to Florence
After snacking on Tuscan delicacies, it’s time to hit the road for one last joy ride. By now, you’re riding like a pro, so you can really enjoy the magnificent views as you cruise through Tuscany’s enchanting hills. Follow your guide back through the city, feeling (and looking) like a true Italian!

What if I have concerns about my mobility on this tour?
Because this tour requires being able to ride a Vespa for about 5 hours, it unfortunately may not be suited for those with mobility issues. Pregnant women are not allowed on the tour for safety reasons.
What happens if it rains?
We run our Vespa tours rain or shine. If the weather is extremely bad and we need to reschedule or refund the tour, we will let you know as soon as possible.
Is there any chance this tour will be canceled?
On the rare occasion the tour is canceled, we'll inform you as soon as possible. We will work with you to reschedule your tour when possible or provide a full refund.
Do I need experience driving a Vespa to join the tour?
The tour is suited for all experience levels, and a ride tutorial will be given before leaving. The tour leader reserves the right at his or her absolute discretion to terminate the participation of any rider who is unable to ride the Vespa safely.
Is lunch included in the price of the tour?
A light lunch including appetizer and a pasta dish is included.
What if I have food allergies, intolerances, or other dietary requirements?
Please contact us in advance so we can do our best to accommodate your needs. We will work with our tour partners to provide you with an alternative when possible.
What if I don’t drink alcohol but I’d still like to join a food tour?
Not a problem. Please let us know in the comment box when you book your tour so we can make sure an alternative drink is provided.
Can I bring my kids and do I have to pay for them?
Unfortunately, a minimum age of 18 is required for this tour.
Does this tour include hotel pickup?
No hotel pickup is included on this tour. You’ll meet your guide at the designated meeting point, which is centrally located in Florence.
