After meeting your friendly local guide in central Florence, in Piazza Cavalleggeri, you'll hop into your comfortable vehicle for the day—a customized 4x4 off-road vehicle that'll help you reach places that other tours can't go. Your journey starts in central Florence, where you’ll meet your local guide in Piazza Cavalleggeri. After a brief introduction, board your custom 4x4 vehicle and leave the bustling city behind for a day of serene exploration. As you venture into the scenic hills, your guide will share stories of Chianti’s rich history and the secrets of the Sangiovese grape—the heart and soul of Chianti wine. We had the best time being driven around Tuscany. We loved the two wineries we visited - delicious wine, snacks and fun little tours. The picnic lunch was casual and tasty. We were with two other people and it was fun getting to know them. It was a little cramped in the back seat with 3 of us - so if you are a larger person you should ask about the type of vehicle and number of passengers. Our guide was an excellent driver and very friendly. It was a day we will always treasure.
