After you park, you can stroll through the vineyards that surround the property before exploring its underground cellar full of historic wines aging to perfection. The expert winemakers at the vineyard will explain the wine-making process up close, and you will also get to visit another winery, later on!
Picnic in the Hills with Antipasti and Wine
During your exploration of the countryside, you'll come across a beautiful grove overlooking the lush farmland. Our party of six enjoyed heading out to the countryside. We had a nice time at the two wine tastings, snack in natural surroundings, and hearing about the rich culture from our guide, Nic.

Lovely day in Tuscany enjoying the beauty and wine!

We had the best time being driven around Tuscany. We loved the two wineries we visited - delicious wine, snacks and fun little tours. The picnic lunch was casual and tasty. We were with two other people and it was fun getting to know them. It was a little cramped in the back seat with 3 of us - so if you are a larger person you should ask about the type of vehicle and number of passengers. Our guide was an excellent driver and very friendly. It was a day we will always treasure.

Can I bring my child and why is it full price?
You can and they will be provided with soft drinks instead of wine. Since this trip includes transportation, all passengers on the tour must be seated for safety and legal reasons. That means a young child takes up the same space as a youth or adult. For peace of mind, we can bring a car seat for children who need one, so please let us know in the comment box on the order confirmation page.
Is this tour private?
If your group size is 6, then yes! Otherwise you may have some fellow wine-loving travelers to join you. If you're looking for a fully private tour, check out our Private Wine day in the Chianti Hills.
