After meeting your group near Piazza Mentana in central Florence, you'll hop aboard a luxury minivan for a journey into the Tuscan countryside. Once you reach the boutique Chianti winery you'll take a tour of the cellars and learn all about the production of wine and olive oil from an expert sommelier, with plenty of tastings of course! You'll also get the unique experience of blending your own wine with the guidance of your host, and you can take your custom bottle with you to enjoy at home.
Finally, it's time for dinner...and what a dinner! The five course menu will showcase the best of Tuscan ingredients, from cured meats and cheeses to classic regional meals. Paired with more delicious wine (of course,) it's the perfect way to end your Tuscan evening before heading back to Florence.

Depart From Central Florence
Your evening begins just off Ponte Vecchio in the heart of Florence. Meet your English-speaking driver who will bring you through Tuscany to the night's event, along with a small group of no more than 8 wine-loving travelers. As you drive through the Tuscan hillsides, take in the beauty of the farms and vineyards that produce the types of wines and olive oils you'll experience later on.
Tuscan Wine-Making Experience at a Boutique Winery
Upon arrival to the renowned local winery, you'll meet your professional sommelier guide for a tour of the winery's beautiful grounds and intricate cellars. Learn the history of the precious bottles lining the walls and the barrels aging the next batches of wonderful Chianti.
Next, it's time to get interactive as you learn the science of wine making and olive oil production. Through these demonstrations and tastings, you'll develop an expert palate and understanding of the finest Tuscan products.
Bring Home a Bottle of Your Own Personal Label
A true highlight of the evening is creating your own blend of Tuscan red wine. Learn about the value of the Sangiovese grape and how the super Tuscan blend was developed. With your newfound knowledge, you can mix a unique wine blend that perfectly suits your taste buds. Pair up with your travel buddies, as every two people will create and take home one bottle of your custom creation!
Once you've decided the measurements of your blend, it will be bottled for you to bring back home. Adorned by a personalized label, it's a one-of-a-kind souvenir.

This tour is everything it says it is. A drive through the beautiful hillsides of Tuscany into a Tuscany winery hidden in the hills of Tuscany. Our winery also included olive oil and bread as well as all varieties of wine tasting. The dinner topping off the evening was indeed a gourmet experience and we even “designed” our own personal recipe (proportions (Sangiovese, Cabernet, Merlot, etc. ) to craft our own bottle which we were able to take home. (We enjoyed it in Amalfi as we were traveling the next day). Even better were the bottles of our favorites that we shipped home to the States. They make it so easy to do and it’s worth it. Our guide was knowledgeable and so engaging. We learned so much as well as enjoyed the “wine making” and meal. Do this tour if you have a chance!!! On the ride back, our guide even dropped us back near our AirBnb. What more can you ask for??
