Customer Reviews
Dimitri is fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience so much more enjoyable. He was very easy to understand. The pace of the tour was perfect. Highly recommended! The semi private small group and smaller crowds on Thursday evening were a plus!
We had an amazing experience at the Louvre. Our guide helped us navigate the crowds and moved us efficiently through the museum. She included the most famous works (Venus de Milo, Athena Nike, and, of course, the Mona Lisa). But, she also showed us works that showed how art changed over the centuries and, in particular, how art reflected the political turmoil in the 18th and 19th centuries. Our family, which includes both a 13 and 11 year old, was engaged throughout the tour. We all agree that it was one of the highlights of our trip to Paris!
Our guide did a wonderful job of navigating the Lourve for us! From the beginning, she was a total pro. She sent us off to relax at a cafe while she negotiated the delay in the museum's opening, and then smoothly guided us through the bewildering entrance lobby and procedures. Once inside, she was able to put the history of the Louvre in context of the history of France, showing us details and exhibits we would have definitely missed on our own. Her knowledge of art history was also superb and greatly enhanced our appreciation of what we saw. Many thanks -- definitely the way to go!
Dimitri was a wonderful tour guide. We learned so much on our tour, and he moved us around the Louvre effortlessly. We went on a very busy day, and hardly noticed due to Dimitri’s expertise! Thank you!
Our private tour of the Louvre with Ivana was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Paris. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she possesses an incredible depth of knowledge about the museum, its history, and the artwork within it. She didn’t just show us the famous pieces—she brought them to life with fascinating context, stories, and insights that we would never have discovered on our own. Ivana’s expertise was impressive, but what made the experience exceptional was the way she shared it. She explained things in a way that was engaging, easy to understand, and tailored to our interests. Her professionalism was evident throughout the tour—everything was organized, seamless, and thoughtfully paced so we could truly appreciate what we were seeing without feeling rushed. Beyond her knowledge and professionalism, Ivana’s kindness and warm personality made the entire experience even more enjoyable. She was patient with questions, attentive to our pace, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had a memorable visit. If you are visiting the Louvre, I cannot recommend a private tour with Ivana highly enough. It transformed what could have been an overwhelming museum visit into an unforgettable and enriching experience. It was worth every minute, and we left with a much deeper appreciation for the art, history, and the Louvre itself.
