Meet your guide at Bar Sgambati
Your tour starts at Bar Sgambati next to Pompeii train station. Find your archaeologist guide holding a company sign and join the group. Before you go in, hear a short intro about Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. -

Enter Pompeii Archaeological Park
Use your skip-the-line tickets, and walk straight into Pompeii Archaeological Park. As you follow the old stone streets, your guide explains the layout of the city and what daily life looked like here. -

Explore the forum and Roman baths
After entering the city, you reach the forum, the main public square of Pompeii, surrounded by temples and civic buildings. From there, you continue to the Roman baths, where your guide points out changing rooms, heated floors, and steam areas that once made this a favorite place to wash and relax. -

See the ancient bakery
Next, stop at the remains of an old bakery. See the stone mills and ovens that once turned grain into bread, and get a sense of how bustling this corner of the city would have been. -

View the plaster casts of victims
Then, follow your guide to one of the most moving stops in the area with the plaster casts of Pompeii’s residents. Your guide explains how archaeologists created these forms and what they reveal about the eruption’s final moments. -

Your tour finishes inside Pompeii
Your guided tour ends inside Pompeii. Say goodbye to your guide, then keep exploring the ruins on your own or head back toward the train station.

Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair or mobility accessible.
Bag Policy: Large bags, backpacks, and luggage are not allowed inside the Pompeii Archaeological Park. Please bring only small personal bags.
Please Note: The guided experience ends inside Pompeii, and guests are free to continue exploring the ruins on their own afterward. This group merges with a group arriving from Rome, and the tour may be delayed until all participants are present.
