Even after an initial mix-up with another group, the team handled everything swiftly, professionally, and with such confidence that it only heightened our sense of being well taken care of. From then on, the tour truly felt like a VIP experience. Our guide tailored the entire day to us: sharing comprehensive insights at the Colosseum, then customizing our time through the Forum and Palatine Hill so we saw the most meaningful highlights without ever feeling rushed. They even thought ahead to our next stop, adjusting our exit to the most convenient location. It was fully customized, deeply personal, and wonderfully executed—a true highlight of our time in Rome.

What if I have concerns about my mobility on this tour?

This tour includes walking on uneven terrain for most of the tour. If you have any doubts about your mobility, we suggest booking one of our private Colosseum tours so your needs can be better accommodated.

Does my tour still run if it rains?

The Tour Guy runs guided tours rain or shine. In cases of heavy rainfall, the Colosseum management may close the Arena Floor at the last minute for safety. We do our best to make alternate Arena Floor arrangements, but we cannot guarantee a substitute date. If your group is subject to closures by the Colosseum and does not get access to the Arena Floor, we still continue on the tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. There is no refund given if the Arena Floor portion of the tour is closed.

Can I cancel if my schedule changes?

No. This Semi-Private Colosseum Arena Floor Tour is a non-refundable tour.

Can I change the date or time of my booking?

Unfortunately, Colosseum tour bookings cannot be edited or canceled after purchase.

Is there a dress code to enter any of the sites on this tour?

While there is no dress code to visit the sites on this itinerary, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate attire.

Do I get to visit the Arena floor with this tour?

Yes, this tour include access to the Arena Floor!

Is lunch included in the price of the tour?

Lunch is not included on this tour. However, your guide will be happy to recommend one of our favorite spots for after the tour, and your guide will be sure to point you in the right direction too.
