The Old Bridge - Ponte Vecchio
Ever since the 13th century, the Ponte Vecchio bridge has been home to built-in shops. Built the "Old Bridge", the Vasari Corridor connects the Palazzo Vecchio with the Palazzo Pitti crosses the bridge. In this elevated corridor, the Medici Family felt secure as they moved between their house and the palace. With this edition, the butchers who sold their meat on the bridge were soon banished and in their place came the goldsmiths and silversmiths. To this day, you can still buy jewelry on the bridge.

Fantastic day trip to Florence from Rome
Well organized; very knowledgeable and pleasant tour guide in Florence (Francesca). Memorable experience for me and my daughter. Our coordinator/escort from Rome to Florence and back was Olga. She was very nice and helpful as well.
So easy to get to Florence!
I really did not want to have to deal with getting from Rome to Florence on my own, so this tour was great! We saw the city's main higlights and we LOVED the Uffizi.
