Tour Itinerary

  • 1

Your tour begins at Place du Général Kœnig

You'll meet your guide at Place du Général Kœnig and hop aboard a private bus bound for Normandy. Along the way, your guide shares stories of Operation Overlord as you roll through farmland toward the coast.
  • 2

    Explore the Utah Beach Museum

At Utah Beach, you'll step into a real German bunker that's now a world-class museum. This is where American boots first hit French sand on June 6, 1944. Inside, you'll find one of only six B-26 bombers left in existence and hear stories of the soldiers who changed history.
  • 3

    Pause for lunch

By now, you’ll have worked up quite the appetite. Sit down with your guide and group for a leisurely lunch. Swap stories, ask questions, and get a taste of what the afternoon has in store.
  • 4

Scale the Pointe du Hoc cliffs

Climbing to the top of these 100-foot cliffs, you'll spot bomb craters and concrete bunkers still scarred by battle. Allied Rangers scaled these rock faces under enemy fire to knock out German guns. Standing here, wind in your face, the bravery becomes real.
  • 5

Visit Omaha Beach and American Cemetery

Below the bluff lies Omaha Beach, where waves now lap quietly at the sand that saw the fiercest fighting of D-Day. Above, white crosses stretch across a manicured lawn. You'll walk among the graves, read names, and look out over the beach where these soldiers gave everything.
  • 6

Your tour finishes at Place du Général Kœnig

After a full day walking through history, you'll settle in for the drive back to Paris. The tour wraps up where it began at Place du Général Kœnig, leaving you with stories and images that stick with you long after you've left Normandy behind.

Worth the long drive to see Normandy beaches.
Jeanne L., 01 October 2026

Good tour that included the museum, Utah and Omaha beaches and the American cemetery. Sharon was very knowledgeable about the history of Normandy. Hearing the stories and sacrifices of soldiers is very moving. Many historical artifacts from the war werr on display and there was a bunker to walk through and explore. There were many monuments to honor heroes and soldiers who died in Normandy. Memorabilia and memorials throughout the museum and beaches were well done. The bus ride was long but veey comfortable. The lunch in a quaint hotel was very good.
