Your tour begins at the Louvre Pyramid
Meet your guide at the bronze statue of King Louis XIV on horseback, right in front of the glass pyramid. They'll be holding a company sign so you can spot them easily in the bustling courtyard.

Bag Policy: Large bags, backpacks or suitcases over 55 x 35 x 20 cm are not permitted inside the museum.
Please Note: This tour is scheduled to end when the museum closes, and it is not possible to remain inside the museum after the tour concludes.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can enter sites on time.

The Louvre was incredible, as expected! We got to see the Venus de Milo, Winged Victory, and the Monna Lisa and the Wedding Feast- absolute highlights! Louis XIV’s golden room is still closed after the jewel theft. Our guide was very knowledgable, and gave us a lot of great information about the French history, which was great. Would have liked a lot less pausing and talking, and a lot more art. We paused excessively to talk about pictures of the crown jewels and french politics, to the point i had to walk away from the group to examine the paintings. We were shown very, very little actual art outside of the three great ladies of the Louvre, for a tour hour tour. Overall, would recommend- very impressed with the Louvre, but i would have liked to move faster and see a few more rooms.

This tour ends when the museum closes, therefore it is not possible to remain inside the museum after the tour.

Can I use my Paris Museum Pass to get a discount on our Louvre tour?

We pre-book all of our reservations and admission tickets for the Louvre Museum in advance. While the Paris Museum Pass can bring you inside the Louvre, our tours include pre-booked reservations, so a Paris Museum Passes will not be valid on this tour.
