The Last Supper
Follow your guide past the long line of tourists as you enjoy a swift entry to Milan’s top attraction. Once inside, you’ll come face to face with Leonardo da Vinci’s most notable work of art, The Last Supper. As you admire this world-renowned painting, your knowledgeable guide will explain its historical significance, along with intriguing facts about the iconic artist.
Painted between 1495 and 1498, The Last Supper depicts the moment Jesus announces that one of his disciples will betray him during their final meal together. Leonardo da Vinci's meticulous attention to detail and innovative techniques in portraying emotions make this artwork a testament to the artistic brilliance of the Italian Renaissance.
Because this historic piece of Renaissance art is extremely delicate, visitors are only allowed 15 minutes to take in the mesmerizing masterpiece.
