After meeting your local guide and small group of fellow foodies, it will be time to dive deep into the culture and cuisine of Madrid’s most delicious barrio.
As you begin to weave through the narrow streets of La Latina, your knowledgeable guide will share intriguing stories about the area’s rich history. Built on a medieval Islamic fort, La Latina is one of Madrid's oldest and liveliest neighborhoods. With narrow streets lined with tapas bars, restaurants, and plazas punctuated by beautiful churches, this central neighborhood is modern and bustling, with no shortage of things to do. From the remarkable Goya paintings at San Francisco el Grande Basilica to the crowded El Rastro flea market, you could spend your whole trip to Madrid in the dazzling La Latina. How comprehensive is this tour?
In the spirit of fully enjoying at each of the 4 tapas bar on this tour, your time exploring the history and other landmarks of La Latina will be slightly abbreviated. You’ll still get to experience the most important elements of this lively neighborhood though.
Is dinner included in the price of the tour?
While dinner is not included in this tour, you will enjoy a number of tapas from different bars, so you should not expect to leave hungry!

Not a problem. This tour includes a wide selection of local alcoholic beverages, but we can also provide alcohol-free alternatives. Please let us know in the comment box when you book your tour so we can make sure an alternative drink is provided.

Because we will be entering multiple bars during this tour, all participants must be over 18 years old.
Does this tour include hotel pickup?
No hotel pickup is included on this tour. You’ll meet your guide at the designated meeting point in La Latina.
