Customer Reviews
Because of the length of this tour.... we did not get to see the sights of Bath and on the return to London we were left on our own at a different location from pick-up point to find our way back. Too much included for one day. Additionally, 73 people for one tour is WAY too many. By the time we got to Bath, the Roman Baths were closed, and we did not have time to walk to the Royal Crescent and back to make the bus home. The rest of the places were wonderful, and we were impressed with the food and efficiency of the Red Lion Pub in Lacock. We would have liked more time in Lacock. Bath could have been skipped, and we would have booked another tour for Bath. Also, the Bus Driver could not bring us back to the meeting point (Victoria Coach Station) because of the amount of hours he is allowed to drive, and we had to take a train back to our hotel, at an extra expense... None of this was advised until we were on the tour. So, this tour needs to be shortened. The tour guide Eva was wonderful and kept everything going efficiently. I will not recommend this tour to my customers.
GREAT TOUR AND FRIENDLY STAFF!!!
We did not know what to expect when booking with the tour guy, but what we found out was you get extra special treatment in every way you can imagine period starting with the most comfortable coach ride I've ever been on, with an amazing tour guide, Eugene, he provided commentary on the history of the monarchy, comedy, and was able to answer any question that you had! During or trip he helped us get the most out of each of our sites. He was even able to get us access into the Roman Baths and sample the water straight from the ground with the 41 minerals, and experience that rejuvenated, delighted us, special memory that you can only get from an amazing tour guide.
I had the pleasure of joining Derek and Nathan on a journey from London to Windsor, Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath. It was a pleasant experience with much to see and do. Derek is extremely knowledgeable and Nathan was a great driver. Highly recommend doing the tour on your own or with the family.
