Dress Code: Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women to enter the Florence Duomo; entry may be refused otherwise.
Accessibility: This tour is suitable for wheelchair users, as the Duomo has an accessible entrance. The Florence Cathedral can also provide wheelchairs at the entrance to those in need. If you have doubts about your mobility, please contact us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Please Note: This tour includes access to the interior of the Cathedral only and does not include a climb up Brunelleschi's Dome or a visit to the Campanile (Bell Tower). The guided portion ends after the Duomo visit, granting access to the Misericordia Museum for self-exploration.

Is there a dress code to enter the religious sites on this tour?
We ask both men and women to cover knees and shoulders, otherwise the Florence Cathedral might refuse entry. We understand the summers in Florence can be hot, so a great alternative is to bring a shawl/scarf/sweater with you. That way you can cover your knees and shoulders when necessary
How comprehensive is this tour?
This tour is slightly abbreviated in comparison to our Florence Duomo tours which include visiting the Terraces and Cupola. You'll still get to experience all the most important elements of the Florence Cathedral though
Does the Florence Duomo ever experience sudden closures?
Due to unforeseen events, the Florence Duomo may occasionally be closed. If this happens, we will immedidately inform you and work on alternative dates or a refund
