Tour Itinerary

  • 1

Meet your guide outside the Sagrada Familia

Connect with your friendly guide outside the Sagrada Familia. Look for the exact location on your booking voucher. Here, you’ll check in and prepare to enter Antoni Gaudí’s incredible basilica without wasting time waiting in the notoriously long line.
  • 2

Learn about the two contrasting facades

Before heading inside, you’ll admire the exterior of this colossal work-in-progress, learning about its ongoing construction since 1882. Your guide will highlight the two contrasting sides: the Façade of Nativity and the Façade of Passion, explaining the intricate stories and symbolism carved into the stone.
  • 3

    Skip-the-line entry to Sagrada Familia

Thanks to your skip-the-line ticket, you'll enjoy fast-track access to the magnificent interior. Step inside and stand in awe of the dizzying height, the incredible forest of columns that mimic tree branches, and the intricate vaults that seem to touch the sky.
  • 4

Walk beneath the forest of columns

Your guide explains how Gaudí studied trees to design these columns, angling them to carry weight the way branches do. Look up to see geometric vaults that bloom at the top, a fusion of engineering and nature that feels alive.
  • 5

    See the stained glass windows

On the eastern side, cool blues and greens wash the stone in morning light. On the west, warm reds and oranges glow like sunset. You'll learn how Gaudí planned every pane to shift the basilica's mood as the sun moves across the sky.
  • 6

    Learn about Gaudí's legacy

Hear how Gaudí lived on-site in his final years, how a tram struck him in 1926, and why construction continues today using his sketches. After the tour ends, you're free to visit the basement museum to see those models and drawings up close.
  • 7

Your tour finishes inside Sagrada Família

The guided portion concludes in the basilica, but you're welcome to stay as long as you like. Linger near your favorite window, sit in a pew, or head down to the museum before exiting back onto the street.

WOW
Wanda A., 14 December 2025

We had an amazing time! The tour guy knew so much! Enjoyed and would recommend this tour.

Very informative and knowledgeable Guide
Patricia B., 30 November 2025

Xavier provided much information for our family group. He involved the children and pointed out features in the architecture that interested them. The only recommendation I would make is to begin ten tour on time. Our group of 14 arrived 15 minutes before the tour was to start. One participant was late and we all waited for nearly 30 minutes to begin the tour. This was not Xavier fault but the directions he received to keep waiting. He provided information while we waited, but by the time we arrived at the church it was approx 45 minutes after we arrived/ 20 min from when the tour was to begin. This made it harder for the parent of the younger children.

Great job.

What are the chances my tour will be canceled or the basilica will close some areas?

We run the tour all year round, rain or shine. Although it is rare, sometimes parts of the Basilica close for special religious events. If an area normally covered on a tour is closed, our guide will lead you to other areas to make up the time.
