Morning Departure from Amalfi
Your day begins at Darsena Pier in Amalfi, where your boat will be waiting along with your English-speaking trip leader and skipper. After a glass of prosecco to toast the journey ahead, you'll set sail on the Mediterranean Sea.
The boat holds a maximum of 12 people—a wonderful small group to explore Capri and the coast. As you pull out of the marina, take in the amazing views of the Amalfi coast before turning your eyes to Capri.
Cruise to Capri
Sit back and relax as the boat cruises along the Amalfi Coast, and make a first swimming stop at the marine park of Punta Carena, a well preserved marine area with crystal, blue waters. After a refreshing bath, soon you'll approach the eye-catching island of Capri—known as one of Italy's most luxurious destinations.
One of your first views will be the ruins of Tiberius' Imperial Palace. The second emperor in Roman history lived in Capri during the tumultuous days of his reign. Your trip leader will tell the story of how the Roman Empire almost collapsed just a few years into Tiberius' rule.
Once you arrive in Capri, you'll tour the island by boat with a chance to admire its famous rock formations and hidden spots. Along the way you will admire the Natural Arch, the Villa Curzio Malaparte, the Faraglioni rocks, and the Lighthouse of Punta Carena. There will be another stop for swimming and snorkeling near the iconic Faraglioni sea stacks, and a relaxing break with a caprese sandwich and water offered on board.
Explore the Island of Capri
Before docking, you'll sail around the island to see more of the stunning coastline, including the iconic Faraglioni. Take in the serenity of the scenery before returning to Marina Grande to disembark.
This tour doesn't stop at the famous Blue Grotto due to long waiting times and boat restrictions, but you can visit during your free time in Capri if you'd like to. Tickets are required to hop on one of the approved rowboats that enter the Blue Grotto, so just make sure to bring the €14 entry fee in cash for each person in your group and enjoy a dazzling ride through this incredible cave.
Arriving back in Marina Grande, your boat will dock in the marina and you'll have around 2.30-hours to take in this charming little island at your own pace. Your crew will be happy to tell you where to get the best pasta, pizza, and seafood for lunch, and you can stroll through the cobblestone streets to your heart's content.
You might decide to visit the Blue Grotto, take the funicular (tram) through the lemon groves to Capri Town where you'll find most of the designer shops, or you can simply take a walk and find one on the many incredible viewpoints on the island. After a few hours of free time, head back onto the boat for the final stretch of your day at sea.
Swimming, Snorkeling, and Relaxation
Throughout the day, there will be plenty of chances to jump in the warm Mediterranean waters for a swim, or you can choose to snorkel and explore the reefs and caves (bring your own snorkel gear). With snacks and water provided onboard, enjoy a relaxing cruise in one of Europe's most beautiful settings.
Take a Dip at the Li Galli Islands
When it is time to return, we will head back to Amalfi with a final stop at the stunning Li Galli Islands. This mini archipelago of three rocky islands is a place of legend, thought to be home to sirens who drew ships to crash upon the shore.
Nowadays the islands are privately owned and have hosted numerous luxury vacations for the rich and famous. Surrounded by beautiful turquoise waters, it’s the perfect place to take a final swim before the tour is over! This day trip to Capri from Amalfi is sure to be a dreamy memory from your Italian vacation. Ciao!

This tour is the best if you want to swim in the most beautiful waters you have ever seen. We did it in the second week of October, and the weather was perfect. A two-hour stop in Capri is included in the trip. Magnificent views of the coast, although very crowded! Lucia, our guide, was attentive and kind. Her beautiful smile and warm demeanor definitely made us feel welcome and relaxed. Thank you for your hospitality!

Tour started on time. The boat was amazing and could easily fit all 12 of us. On the way to capri we stopped for a 15 minutes dive. We arrived at capri at 12pm and had free time till 3pm. However our boat couldn't get a slot to dock and pick us up before 4 pm. After capri we went for another 15 minutes dive and headed directly to Amalfi passing fast through Li galli islands. The grottos were totally ignored. We didn't go or see and of them. We were very pisses, but the boat trip was fun and we enjoyed the great views.

We met our tour guide on the port on time. The boat was amazing and could easily fit us all (12 in total). We head to Capri, on the way we stopped for 15 minutes to dive in the water. In capri we had 3 hours (12-3 pm)-use it to go to blue grotto if you want. However the boat got a slot to dock and pick us up at 4pm. After that we went for another 15 minutes of dive, and headed back to amalfi. We didn't enter any of the grottos :(, and we passed by Li Galli Islands really fast. :( On the way, there were sandwiches, water, prosecco and some snacks. We were very pissed that the grottos were skipped, but the rest of the tour was quite nice, hence 4 stars.
