Can I bring food into the Vatican?
Food is allowed in the outdoor areas of the Vatican City, but it cannot be eaten in the Vatican Museums or St. Peter’s Basilica. There are no restaurants or food shops in the city, but there are plenty of options nearby.
How will I find my way around the Vatican?
There are maps available onsite and also audio tours (for an additional small fee). Alternatively, you can join a guided Vatican touror book a private Vatican tour—this way you’ll have an expert local guide to tell you more about the history and beautiful artwork you’ll be seeing today.

No. This booking is non-refundable. Once your reservation is confirmed, it cannot be canceled, changed, or refunded.
Is there a dress code?
As the Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel are deeply religious sites, everyone must cover their knees and shoulders. Guests who do not meet the dress code may be refused entry by security officials. No hats or flip flops please. We understand the summers in Rome can be hot, so a great alternative is to bring a shawl/scarf/sweater with you. That way you can cover your knees and shoulders when necessary.
