Customer Reviews
The tour is too long. I knew it would be long but it was two hours longer than indicated when I ordered it. Pompei was fine but that was a small part of the day. The trip was bloated with stops for shopping (relationships with vendors I assume) and very rushed at every turn. The leader was completely stressed out and rushed the group at each transition - even when nobody was dawdling. Mt. Vesuvius was very cold and windy and again, a big rush to get there with a frantic and abrupt end to the pizza lunch. The paperwork/website said that after early November the trip would go to Positano instead of this hike. We had no interest in Vesuvio and had to stand around in the windy and cold parking lot for an hour and a half. That was a day of my life I will never get back. AVOID!!
This was the best trip! Great stops, fantastic guide, delicious lunch! Highly recommend this tour.
Our experience with Veronica was good but we did not enjoy our trip to Pompei despite it being what we really were looking forward to. The guide in Pompei was hard to understand and went really fast and did not provide information we expected based on what we saw when we purchased the ticket.
