Capture the moment with your camera as you take in the incredible landscape.
Wander Through Beautiful Pienza
Next, your driver will transport you to Pienza, coined as the “ideal city.” Pienza was built in the 15the century by the legendary architect Bernardo Rossellino at the request of Pope Pius II.

You’ll also drive by the serene location featured as the gladiator’s home in Ridley Scott’s Academy Award-winning Gladiator. Although much of the film centers on Rome, the peaceful paradise where the gladiator (played by Russell Crowe) dreams of returning was filmed in Val d’Orcia. With its rolling hills, cypress-lined roads, and timeless beauty, this tiny slice of heaven is unforgettable.
