Sail the Mediterranean Sea
There’s nothing more quintessential than sailing to Capri while you’re staying on the Amalfi Coast. So this tour makes it easy since the private boat can pick you up from any port near your accommodations along the Amalfi Coast.
Along the way, your skipper might steer you past Tiberius’ Leap and other eye-catching rock formations in the sea. And if you prefer to make a lazy trip to Capri by stopping to swim or snorkel, just let your skipper know and he’ll take you to the best spots. (You’ll need to bring your own swim and snorkel gear.)
Explore the Island of Capri
You might want to explore the waters around Capri before being dropped off on the island. Ask them which grottoes you can see as you sail around the island. The Blue Grotto is limited to specific types of boats, which you’re welcome to book on your own when you’re in Capri.
Once you’re ready to explore the towns of Capri and Anacapri, your skipper will have plenty of recommendations for what you should do, see, and eat here. Capri is the luxury island of the Mediterranean, and you’ll appreciate its vibe as you wander the streets.
Return Transportation
Since this is a private tour, you can opt to be returned to a port of your choosing along the Amalfi Coast. Or you could even opt to end your tour in Capri and make your own way back when you’re ready. There are ferries and private boats you can reserve, but you’ll want to make sure it’s reserved before bidding your private skipper goodbye. Otherwise, they’ll happily return you to Sorrento, Ravello, Positano, Amalfi Town, or any other port nearby.
