Your free time for lunch in Saint Emilion will depend on the winery visits that are programmed on the day of your tour. If your tour has 1 winery visit in the morning and 2 in the afternoon, your free time in Saint Emilion will be at about 12.30pm. If your tour has 2 wineries programmed in the morning and 1 in the afternoon, then your free time in Saint Emilion will begin at around 1.30pm. Most restaurants serve all day, but some may stop receiving guests at 2.00pm. We strongly recommend that you ask your guide on the morning of your tour what your program is and to make the necessary restaurant reservation accordingly. As in many attractive villages, Saint Emilion can get pretty busy during peak times.
Can I purchase wine at the châteaux and ship it home?
Yes, most wineries you visit offer their vintages for sale in on-site boutiques. While your guide can help you carry a few bottles back to the minivan, many estates also coordinate professional international shipping if you wish to send a larger collection or several cases directly to your home.
