Tour Itinerary

  • 1

Your tour begins just outside Park Güell

Meet your private guide just outside Park Güell in the hills above Barcelona's Gràcia neighborhood. Your guide walks you through the plan for what's ahead, from Gaudí's mosaics to Barcelona's rooftop views.
  • 2

Follow Gaudí's Viaducts and Colonnaded Pathway

Set off with your guide along the Viaducts, Gaudí's stone bridges that seem to grow straight out of the hill. Since it's private, you can stop for photos along the leaning Colonnaded Pathway anytime you want.
  • 3

Wander the Austria Gardens past Gaudí's House

Slip into the Austria Gardens, a shady grove of pines first planted with trees from Austria. Take your time by Casa Museu Gaudí, the pink villa where Antoni Gaudí lived and worked for two decades of his life.
  • 4

    Step into the Hypostyle Room

Duck under the terrace into the Hypostyle Room, where dozens of grooved stone columns hold up what Gaudí planned as an open-air market. Look up and you'll spot mosaic sun and moon designs tucked in the ceiling.
  • 5

Meet El Drac on the Dragon Staircase

Climb the Dragon Staircase and say hi to El Drac, the mosaic salamander who's basically Barcelona's mascot. Your guide breaks down Gaudí's trencadís method, the broken-tile trick behind every mosaic curve.
  • 6

Admire the views from Gaudí's Serpentine Bench

Reach the main terrace and grab a spot on the Serpentine Bench, the wavy mosaic seat that wraps the whole plaza. Since it's private, you can hang here as long as you want, snapping photos of Sagrada Família below.
  • 7

Your tour ends inside Park Güell

Wrap up with your guide on the terrace, then stick around as long as you'd like. Your timed entry ticket means you can wander back to favorite spots, find new corners, or just relax with the Barcelona skyline in view.

Absolutely loved our tour of Park Güell. The private access meant we could enjoy the space at our own pace, and our guide was fantastic. Miguel was so passionate and full of interesting facts about Gaudí that we wouldn't have learned on our own. The views of Barcelona from the park were breathtaking!

Great first experience in Barcelona
Donald H., 28 January 2025

As a first-timer in Barcelona, this private tour of Park Güell was awesome! The place is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Guadi's designs are wild! Our guide was super friendly and made it easy to understand the history and the little details that make the park so special. I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I ended up loving it. Getting to skip the lines and explore at our own pace was great too. If you’re visiting, don’t miss this one!

I absolutely loved visiting this park with my partner! We've come to love Gaudi and his work and our guide Liana was super knowledgeable and brought the history, stories, and architecture to life. We got to see so much of the park and it was well paced and organized. Recommend going with a guide! The company did well organizing it and the customer service staff in helping me plan my time in Barcelona.
