For this tasting, we got to taste a variety of wines from all over Greece. Our Sommelier (wish I remembered her name) was just the best at this store (Athens Wine Tasting Store). She was funny and relaxed, and gave some background and history of each wine. I wished the store was open at other times so I could purchase the wines on a different day before leaving Athens.
Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting. She did a great job leading us through the tastings, teaching us about the different kinds of wines, and answering our questions. It was nice to have a little bit of food to go along with the wine, and the wines were really good!
Dorella was an amazing guide!! The pace of the tour was great. Everyone had an opportunity to ask questions. She explained everything we ate and its significance to the culture. Food was delicious as well 😊 There was so much food that we didn’t need to eat dinner !!
