Can I be picked up from the port? I’m arriving on a cruise.

Yes, port pickup can be arranged, but you must contact us in advance to ensure we have enough time to complete the full itinerary and organize the best pickup time for your cruise schedule. Let us know your ship’s arrival and departure times, and we’ll coordinate accordingly.

Does the itinerary of this tour ever change?

As this is a fully private experience, the itinerary can be tailored to your preferences within the time available. Your driver will do their best to accommodate any requests, keeping in mind traffic conditions and the tour schedule.

Is a licensed guide included?

No, only a professional private driver is included. Drivers have extensive historical knowledge but are not licensed to enter the sites with you. If you would like a licensed guide, please contact us in advance, and we will check availability.

No, this tour is operated by one of our trusted and vetted partners in Athens.

Are tickets included?

Skip-the-line tickets to the Acropolis and Ancient Agora are included. Tickets for the Acropolis Museum (20 € per person) or Archeological Museum (12 € per person) are not included and your driver will assist you to buy them at your preferred attraction. You will not enter other monuments, but your driver will provide insight as you pass key landmarks.

Is lunch included?

Yes, you will enjoy an authentic Greek meal at a traditional taverna. The set menu includes a pitta gyros, a fresh Greek salad with olives and feta cheese, a piece of baklava, and a drink of your choice.

What if I have food allergies, intolerances, or other dietary requirements?

Please contact us in advance so we can do our best to accommodate your needs. We will work with our tour partners to provide you with an alternative when possible.

What if I have concerns about my mobility on this tour?

The tour is designed to minimize walking and maximize comfort, making it ideal for those with mobility concerns. However, some archaeological sites, such as the Acropolis, have uneven terrain and steps. At the Acropolis, there is an elevator available for wheelchairs (and 1 escort), people with diminished abilities and any parent attending two or more infants on her/his own. The elevator is located about 350 m. far from the main entrance of the archaeological site. Unfortunately there is no option of pre- arrange the use of the elevator, but your driver will help you this that on the day of the tour. Kindly note that the facility is not available during extreme weather conditions and strong winds. If you have specific concerns, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

What happens if it rains?

The tour runs rain or shine. In case of extreme weather that prevents the tour from operating, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule or provide a refund.

Is there any chance my tour might be canceled?

On the rare occasions the tour is canceled, we will inform you as soon as possible and work with you to reschedule or arrange a refund.

Does this tour include hotel pickup?

Yes, hotel pickup is included for your convenience if you are staying in central Athens. In case you are staying outside the city center, we will arrange for a meeting point.

Can I bring my kids and do I have to pay for them?

Kids are welcome on this tour. Since this trip includes private transportation, all passengers must have their own seat for safety reasons. Young children take up the same space as an adult, so a ticket is required. If you need a car seat, please let us know in advance so we can arrange one.

How comprehensive is this tour?

This private tour covers Athens’ most iconic landmarks while allowing for flexibility in the itinerary. You’ll have the chance to explore the Acropolis and Ancient Agora on your own with skip-the-line access, visit major sites. Since this is a private experience, your driver can adjust the schedule within the available time, but keep in mind that entry to additional monuments is not included.
