Greek Parliament & Tomb of Unknown Soldier

At the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a monument in honor of those fallen in war, you will see the Evzone guarding the tomb and possibly witness them perform their memorial march!
Explore Lycabettus Hill
There’s nothing more breathtaking than that of Lycabettus Hill. Your driver will stop for you to climb to the top and soak in a beautiful panoramic view of Athens.
This stop will require some walking, about 5 minutes worth.
Kolonaki Neighborhood
As you ride past Kolonaki, you will notice that it is a hot spot for upscale shopping with international labels and Greek designer boutiques. If you are looking for somewhere to shop til you drop, this is a great place to check out after your tour!
Plaka Neighborhood
This neighborhood is one of the oldest historical neighborhoods of Athens and is bountiful with history. It can be found around the northern and eastern slopes of Athens and incorporates complicated streets and neoclassical architecture. Fear not of getting lost, as your driver knows the roads like the back of their hand and will guide you seamlessly through this ancient town, known for Anafiotika and taverns.
Central Market of Athens
Wondering where the locals find the freshest foods in Athens? Then look no further than Central Market! Ask your driver to make a quick stop so you can quickly explore some of the finest cuts of meat, fresh seafood, spices, and wares that the vendors have to offer.
Witness History with the Kolokotroni Statue
This statue represents a man by the name of Theodoros Kolokotronis. Kolokotronis was a Greek General and well-known leader that fought against the Ottoman Empire in the Greek War of Independence.
Filopappos, Areopagitou, and Acropolis Hill
The last few stops are the hills that offer important pieces from Athens history and culture. At Filopappos hill, you will see where Socrates was held as a prisoner. In the evening, both locals and tourists gather here to view the sun setting on the Acropolis.
At Areopagitou hill, you will have the opportunity to experience the eclectic views over the Monastiraki neighborhood. Areopagitou hill also happens to be the place where Saint Paul Apostle directly spoke to Athenians about Jesus Christ.
Finally, you will reach Acropolis Hill where you will be dropped off for the end of your tour. Here, you can visit the Acropolis and walk around at your leisure.
Please note that entry tickets are not included in the tour. If you wish to explore the Acropolis on your own after the tour, be prepared for a steep walk up hill. Good walking shoes recommended.

Thank you to Joseph for showing us a perfect day in Athens. Our group all agreed that it was the best tour we have ever been on. We felt safe on the busy streets, The history was amazing, The stops were excellent. An excellent way to see Athens without walking everywhere. So personal with our own guide. Highly recommend. Thanks again Joseph from the Canadians.
