Your adventure starts promptly am in front of the São Bento train station, where you'll meet your guide and fellow wine enthusiasts. Please aim to arrive 10 minutes early, which ensures you’ll have time to settle in on the comfortable minibus and venture out of the city before the hustle and bustle of city life begins.
Soon, you'll be immersed in the lush, green valleys and vineyards that define the Douro region, and thanks to your expert guide, you can look forward to insights into this UNECSO-listed wine region. After all, Douro Valley is recognized worldwide for its winemaking heritage and centuries-old tradition of port wine.
Superb Wine & Lunch in Pinhão
After a two-hour scenic drive, you’ll arrive in the charming village of Pinhão. Here, nestled among terraced hillsides, you'll be treated to your first wine tasting at one of the Douro's prestigious estates. Discover the unique flavors of three local wines and learn about the winemaking process that brings out their unique notes and aromas.
It’s not all about the wine, though. During your visit to this family-owned estate, you’ll be treated to a traditional Portuguese lunch—with each dish carefully paired with Douro wines. Cruise Douro River
