Ocean Boating Adventure
Your local crew will welcome you onboard with a quick safety briefing and a chant of “E’ho mai” to ask the gods of the sea for plenty of wildlife today! Enjoy the coastal views and relax onboard your comfortable boat for the short journey out to sea. (Beer, wine, and soft drinks can be purchased for $5 per drink, and snacks are also available.)
As you head to sea, you'll probably have a hard time deciding what to do first! You'll have access to inflatable kayaks, stand-up paddleboards (SUP), and snorkeling equipment. And did we mention the waterslide?! If you have kids with you, they'll probably beg to slide into the ocean as soon as possible. However you choose to spend your time on the boat, you're sure to make forever memories and take epic photos.
Hawaii’s Beloved Dolphins
It's rare not to see the friendly spinner dolphins who live in the area you'll sail to. For conservations reasons, your skipper will not chase or harass the dolphins, but these playful animals almost always come to check out passing boats. They may even treat you to some of their famous acrobatics as they swim alongside you. Seeing these incredible mammals up close is sure to be a highlight of your Hawaiian vacation.
Coral Reefs and Turtles
After seeing the dolphins, your skipper will take you to one of Oahu’s best coral reefs—home to honu turtles, manta rays, and a huge array of tropical fish. Grab a snorkel and splash into the sea (by waterslide or diving), then experience this colorful underwater world for yourself.
Hawaiian Lunch and Hula at Sea
Towards the end of your dolphin and turtle watching tour, a delicious lunch made with fresh Hawaiian ingredients will be served. You'll have a choice of entrées: meat, seafood, or vegetarian. Best of all, you'll also be entertained by some of the crew who will perform some hula dances for you. Don't hesitate to join in when they start teaching! Each movement is part of the story that's being told during the hula, and you'll learn why these dances are so important to Hawaiian heritage and their oral culture.
