Each has been artfully preserved to transport you straight into the heart of the Game of Thrones epic. Experience the icy ambiance of Beyond the Wall, keep your eye out for the Night King and Wun Wun, and see your own face featured in the Hall of Faces. Other iconic sets include Castle Black, Winterfell Grand Hall, Dragonstone, King's Landing, and the destroyed Throne Room.

Props & Weapons

Next, take a deeper dive into the impressive props created for the Game of Thrones series. From masterfully crafted banners to detailed maps and unique carriages, the items displayed show how every detail was perfectly captured and presented in a way that captivates the viewer. And for a taste of battle, head into the Armoury to check out the creations of Weapons Master Tommy Dunne.

Authentic Costumes

While there's no denying seeing the Game of Thrones costumes on screen was impressive, they are even more mindblowing up close. It took a team of over 100 skilled artisans, including leather workers, printers, dyers, and jewelers, to create the stunning garments that appeared throughout the series, and here at the Game of Thrones Studio Tour, you'll get an up-close view at some of the most iconic ones. Think Cersei's militaristic style coronation gown and Daenerys’ infamous white fur coat.

Special Effects & Interactives

Ready to step into the shoes of a Game of Thrones character? Be sure to set aside a good amount of time for the Special Effects and Interactives area of the Game of Thrones Studio Tour. Here, you can capture green screen photo moments and stand amidst iconic scenes. You'll also learn about the magic behind the scenes and uncover how the SFX and VFX teams conjured dragons, set cities ablaze, and staged the magnificent battles that had us all at the edge of our seats.

Prosthetics

Experience the incredible transformation process that actors and actresses underwent to become legendary beings like the White Walkers and Giants. On display are some of the most captivating works from both the Prosthetics Department and the Hair and Make-up teams. Dive deep into the behind-the-scenes realities of the show, and discover intriguing tidbits–like how the Night King required a four-hour preparation before filming!

Art Department

One section that shouldn't be overlooked is the fascinating Art Department. While not as big and bold as the other sections, at the Art Department, you can discover how sets, costumes, and props went from words to pictures and finally to miniature 3D models before being created for the screen. Here, you can also compare early interpretations to finished sets and see creations that never came to life.
