I can’t begin to tell you how fantastic The Roman Guy is! We arrived to Rome and on the day for our scheduled Vatican tour, it snowed. Meaning, EVERYTI can’t begin to tell you how fantastic The Roman Guy is! We arrived to Rome and on the day for our scheduled Vatican tour, it snowed. Meaning, EVERYTHING was closed. We did enter Sistine Chapel though right before the rest of Vatican Museums got shut down. So thinking that it was it and we won’t see the rest, we called them asking if we can go the following day. And voila! They accommodated us for the next tour the next morning.
Apart from that our guide was so very knowledgeable! No matter what question is being thrown at him, he knew the answer! This is the only tour operator that has SMALL groups. We saw other operators with 20+ people, walking like a cattle. Ours was 10 people. Very personal and intimate. We also had earphones, meaning the guide was talking into a small mic and we all could clearly hear him. That was fantastic if we wanted to stop by and snap a picture but didn’t want to miss anything he was saying. Other operators were either yelling to the rest of the group, making only those who was close to him/her hear them. We also went to Sistine Chapel the first thing in the morning, when there practically wasn’t anyone there. An hour later there wasn’t a place for an apple to drop (we circled back to the chapel for exit).
Overall, would highly, highly recommend them!!! They also lead you from A to Z as to where to meet them, how to get there, and what transportation to take. Just amazing customer service and care!!..more
