Great Trip!

Jeff K - Cherry Hill, NJ May 2014

We visited Venice, Florence & Rome in May 2014. What an amazing vacation. We didn’t know what to expect since the prices were so reasonable, but they far exceeded our expectations. It was literally door to door service. I remember me and wife talking to each other prior being like - at this price we will probably be eating on our own most nights.. not true at ALL! We ate at great restaurants the whole time. Trying local dishes and drinking local wine.. lots of wine. Guided tours were great too. These guys are famous for their guided tours and they do it right. We were split into groups of 12 for each tour which made it really personal. Guides were all great too.. you could tell they really enjoyed what they did and had pride in their city. A + stuff. We’re coming back in 2016 without a doubt!

Miss It Already

Patty M - Long Island, NY May 2014

I booked with my hubby and two other couples. Everyone in the group were really fun and the tour went great. We either got really lucky with our group or these guys just attract all the right clientele! Favorite part was our wine tour to Chianti. I miss the rolling hills of Tuscany! Take me back!

Amazing

James L - St. Paul, MN September 2014

My wife and I are doctors. We work a lot and deal with a lot of stress. When we vacation we try not to worry about the details and go along for the ride. The Roman Guy has the details taken care of. From airport to airport. A combination of the right guides, the right restaurants and enough wine is their prescription for a perfect vacation. I liked that they included everything we needed to do while we were there. I think the only add-on we had to purchase was a Gondola ride in Venice. We saw Michelangelo’s David, the Vatican, Colosseum, took a few boat rides in Venice. We even went to the Dungeons of the Colosseum and the stage where the gladiators fought. I remember wondering why there were no other people around us. I thought maybe they didn’t know how to get there. It wasn’t until after we got back from our trip that we realized that nobody else but us were aloud to go to those areas! First class all the way… nothing to worry about. That should be their motto. Thanks Brandon & Luca!

Andrea F. - NJ November 2016

That is hard to say which was my favorite experience as almost everything was wonderful! I think having the chance to spend several days in the Tuscan countryside would be at the top of the favorites list and using a home base to visit so many different towns and vineyards from there. Also near the top would be the wonderful people who work with and for The Roman Guy. Everyone was friendly, helpful and in several cases went way above and beyond to be of help to my husband Jack and ensure he was able to have the full experience even with his physical limitations. Angelica would be at the top of that list, as would Elena our local guide in Florence, Mario our driver for 2 days in Tuscany , Gina in the Rome office who made sure all the plans were perfect and answered everyone of our thousands of questions and Brandon for his kindness when we both got sick in Rome near the end of our trip. The vineyard visit in Chianti was perfect!

Kimberly K. - NY November 2016

Our tour guide Guisippee was wonderful! He was wonderful and attentive. In addition, he had multiple challenges due to dietary issues, and he handled those obstacles with grace by communicating with the restaurant and hotel staff to ensure that the travelers were well taken care of. I believe that Florence was my favorite city. The Colosseum dungeon tour and Vatican experience was amazing. And again, we were blessed with a magnificent tour guide.

Sheryl B. - FL November 2016

My favorite experience was the Vineyard tours, tasting wine, homemade Olive Oil and Baslamic Vinegar. I enjoyed seeing how the different wineries created their brand of wine. Gisseppe our tour guide was awesome too. I don't think it would have been that great of a trip without him. He was very knowledgeable and very patience with us Americans. It was an awesome trip and I can't wait to come back to Italy soon.
