Skip the Line at La Sagrada Família

La Sagrada Família is the most visited site in all of Barcelona and one of the most visited churches in the whole of Europe. It's not surprising that the line to get in can sometimes stretch around the building! But you don't need to worry about that thanks to your skip-the-line ticket that makes sure that you don't waste your vacation time waiting to get into the basilica.

As you're heading inside with your guide, you'll learn the history of this magnificent structure and admire the two contrasting facades of its exterior: the Façade of the Nativity, and the Façade of Passion.

The Basilica

There are few buildings in the world more synonymous with a city than Barcelona's basilica of Sagrada Família. The pride and joy of the city, La Sagrada Família has enchanted and dazzled its visitors since its construction under Antoni Gaudí first began. To this day, the Sagrada remains unfinished, and every visit offers something new. As you explore, your guide will bring this sensational church to life and make you fall in love with every stone, stained glass window, floor decoration, and ceiling carving.

La Sagrada Família attracts more than 3 million visitors every year—a testament to the enduring beauty of Gaudi's distinctive design and the strict standards that have been upheld through its 150-year construction.

Gaudí's Legacy

During your tour, your guide will tell stories about the eccentric genius who envisioned this masterpiece and started working on the basilica at the age of 30. Tragically, Antoni Gaudí suffered a fatal accident near the construction site in 1926 and never saw his masterpiece finished.

Almost 100 years later, this church is still a work in progress. With each passing year, visitors to Sagrada Família get to see it in a different light, and a few steps closer to the completion of Gaudí's masterplan.

Want To See More?

After your tour is finished, you can head under the Sagrada Família where you'll discover the museum. With a plethora of scale models, original photography, drawings, and documents, you'll get an even better insight into the vast genius and brilliance behind Barcelona's architectural gem!

Miguel was an excellent guide! We were in a small group of seven, which made the tour feel more private and intimate. Highly recommend skip the line, as the waiting time can be hours+. Miguel was extremely knowledgable about the site and excited to share its history; he made the experience engaging and immersive, and it's truly a must-see when in Barcelona. Thank you to Miguel for bringing the Sagrada Família and Gaudí to life!

Our tour guide was on time, and both knowledgeable and personable. There were only 4 people in our group, which was a nice surprise. (We had booked a group of up to 8.). At times, I had a bit of trouble understanding our guide, as she had a strong Italian accent and there was often background noise.

Anna was fantastic!

I looked over several tour companies and went with The Tour Guy. Anna was our guide and she was really informative and knew answers to many questions that we had. She even went above and beyond - I had a backpack and they don’t allow them when you go up the tower; you have to put it in a locker and it requires a €1 coin. I didn’t have one so she gave me one of hers.

What are the chances my tour will be canceled or the basilica will close some areas?

We run the tour all year round, rain or shine. Although it is rare, sometimes parts of the Basilica close for special religious events. If an area normally covered on a tour is closed, our guide will lead you to other areas to make up the time.
