I'm happy to say that they did everything that they said they would. The guides were tremendously helpful and knowledgeable, and spoke English very well. I especially enjoyed Mario's insights into the Colosseum and Forum. Don't hesitate to use this company - you won't regret it...more

She was easy to understand and worked at a good pace. The before hours tour is the only way I would go here. Glad we booked this tour. I appreciated all of the famous artwork that I learned about previously. I am not Catholic, so our guide's belief that Mary was sinless doesn't match my own beliefs. I might consider a tour guide with my same beliefs in the future.

To go in without queuing and see the Sistine Chapel without being jostled was wonderful, but before we went in, Elaine had given us so much valuable information and advice, and also a pictorial map so that we could find and understand each section of the painting. No talking in the Sistine Chapel, of course, but for the rest of the tour, as we walked, we had a constant stream of most entertaining talk from Elaine explaining what we were seeing and giving us a bit of history to put it into perspective. She had a great sense of humour & really made it come alive for us, pointing out so many interesting little bits and pieces that we'd never have noticed on our own. Many thanks, Elaine!..more
