You'll want to fill it up, when you learn about our world famous Colosseum Underground Tour!
This is a light walking tour with frequent stops.
This Florence Food Tour is guided by a local Florentine who will introduce you to the culture of Florence through its food & wine. Yummy!
The word “coccolo” describes the chubby cheeks of cherubs on the Florentine statues. It’s also a perfect way to describe the puffiness of your first snack - a delicious fried pasty.
Without further ado, we bring you the finest of Tuscan prosciutto and cheeses! This lovely deli has been around for over 130 years and there’s a reason or that!
Your guide wouldn’t want you to wait much longer, now its time for “il vino” (the wine)! Learn about the varieties of Tuscan wine, as you sip on some of the goodness.
The name doesn’t tell you much, but a picture paints a thousand words. This traditional pork sandwich, accompanied by more wine, will make your palate sing!
There is a lot to eat on this walk! Luckily there is a great way to burn off some of the calories, by walking through some of the most beautiful back streets in the “Renaissance Capital of Europe”!
Your guide will ask the bravest to step forward to taste this easy Florentine treat. Only those with open minds will get to enjoy what this city has to offer to the fullest!
Your local foodie guide will answer any questions you may have, but they will also be sharing some cool recipes and tricks throughout, so listen carefully.
After a nice walk, and a few glasses of vino, you’ll sit down at Florence's Sant'Ambrogio Market to experience a typical Florentine lunch. This is what we call life, or should we say “La bella vita”!
Did we mention that the Tuscan “rosso” (red wine) is our favorite? We want to share our affection by giving you more to taste! “Too much wine” said no-one, ever!
What better way to say “arrivederci” (goodbye) to you, than with some delicious Florentine pastries. At this point, you will just want to find time in your revisit all these places again!
Italian food is celebrated well beyond the boot-shaped peninsula. Much of the best food in Italy comes from Florence - the “Cradle of the Renaissance” is celebrated for food and drink. She is a delightful young woman and made the tour so much more than just a tour. The variety of foods that we tried was excellent, and all of it (except maybe the tripe) was delicious. Best of all, though, was Mara’s commentary. We felt like is was a total experience, not just a random sampling of foods. Can’t say enough about Mara...more

There were many Our tour guide was the lovely Mara, who was very interested in the city, the food, the history, but also about the people she guided. There were many stops, but the first is a shop that sells small dough balls that are fried, then filled with either a jam, chocolate or cream. I won't spoil all the fun, but the delivery method is such fun. Next, was a cheese selection with the option of wine, located close by. There is a steep staircase down to the table where the best history is explained, but there are also upstairs tables if preferred. There are another few stops between, but the most interesting for my group was the Sant'Ambrogio Market. This place is smaller that San Lorenzo, but there is a lot more enjoyable. The atmosphere is different and the stall cellars are very engaging. The food available is second to none. This tour is very enjoyable with not too much walking for people. After such a nice time here, I'm going to try the other tours when I visit Italy again...more
